Playin’ Hooky with My Baby is the debut album of Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Jonathan Brenner. The album spans multiple genres, including folk, country, Americana, and jazz, and features some of the finest musicians on the Atlanta music scene, including multi-instrumentalists Marla Feeney, Bob Lewis and Billy Gewin, violinist/violist Tim Higgins, cellist Marla Majett, keyboardist Alan Dynin, and session drummers Mark Garretson, Will Groth, and Emrah Kotan. All songs were produced, mixed, and mastered by Billy Gewin at the legendary Cave Cricket Studio in Tucker, GA.
